It's a bird, it's a plane ... no! It's Reality Rod!

This is the video that will absolutely make your day.

Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich is not giving up on his reality TV dream, even after a judge warned him to take his trial more seriously.

Instead, he's in Los Angeles this week, where he filmed a promo suspended by wires in front of a green screen, pretending to fly while a huge fan blew that famous hair of his.

Watch the video, and imagine the jungle that he can't get to in place of the green background.

Or the skyline of Chicago.

Blagojevich said that while he can't make it to Costa Rica, there may be other options for him to play along with the show.

That coupled with the promo seems like he may still find a way to be part of "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!"

The show's cast lineup will be released later today.

On the "Today" show Thursday, Blago likened the jungle where "I'm a Celebrity" is going to be filmed to his tenure as governor of Illinois.

"The idea of being in the jungle toughening it out, sort of creating a little civil society with other people, and seeing how you can govern that little society, is not that unlike what it was like when I was governor of the fifth largest state in America," he said.

We're not sure what we want to watch more: him flailing around while suspended by a wire, or eating bugs.

Blagojevich's wife, Patti, has also been asked to be a contestant on "I'm a Celebrity," the Sun-Times reported, but that might be going a little far.

We wouldn't put it past her to go all Lord of the Flies out there.
