Amarillo -- The political action committee of the National Rifle Association (NRA) endorsed State Senator Kel Seliger for the upcoming Senate District 31 Republican primary. Seliger earned the NRAs coveted A rating.

"Senator Seligers rating and endorsement are based on his strong record of support for Second Amendment issues in the Texas Legislature," wrote NRAs State Liaison Tara Reilly Mica.

"Im proud to have earned the NRAs endorsement," Seliger said. "The citizens of my district believe very strongly in the right to keep and bear arms. There is no more active and effective group than the NRA in defending this important constitutional liberty."
