It was a game that was supposed to be played on Friday night, but with no referees scheduled for the contest the game between the Tigers and Mavericks was hard to kickoff.

This morning both teams finally hit the field with refs.

Eastland taking advantage of the extra day of preparation with the 49-20 win over Anson.

The Mavs advance to 2-0 in district play and play host to Merkel next week for their third district contest back in Eastland.
