The Texas defense is facing their toughest challenge of the season heading into the BCS National Championship game against Alabama. The Crimson Tide runs the ball with Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram, then they run the ball, and then they run it some more.
Texas says they are ready for the challenge of stopping the Tide's ground attack. Defensive end Sergio Kindle says he looks forward to finding out what it's all about.
Another challenge facing the Longhorns is the long lay-off between their game on December 5th against Nebraska to now.
The time off can be hard, and it gets harder when you have to hear how good Alabama is for a month.
The 2nd ranked Longhorns and the #1 Crimson Tide play on Thursday in the Rose Bowl at 7 p.m.
