People waste more water in the bathroom than any other place in the home, and that's why greening your bathroom is so important.
There are many things you can do to green your bathroom. We waste a great deal of water in the shower. If you want to save water and money install a low-flow showerhead. The low flow is actually the amount of water per minute you're actually putting through that valve. A high efficency toilet could also save a lot of water. A family of four could save more than 16,000 gallons a year. That's big savings.
Many commercial cleaners contain harsh chemicals. Look for green cleaning supplies or use more natural products. There's a whole line now of these green products that are excellent bathroom cleaners, degreasers, mildew, and mold removers.
A leaky faucet is another big water waster. A little drip can waste nearly three thousand gallons a year.
