TexasHSfootball.com continued its projections for Texas high school football, today is 2A day.

In 2A Division I, which holds 11 of the 14 Big Country teams, Brady has grabbed the highest ranking after being picked to finish fifth in Region I and 15th in the state. The Bulldogs are also picked to repeat as District Champs in 3-2A.

Six teams have been projected for playoff spots.  Bangs and Merkel are projected to finish two and three behind Brady respectively in 3-2A. In 4-2A both Breckenridge and Commanche are picked to make the playoffs finishing two and three, with Eastland on the outside looking in finishing fourth. Colorado City finishes out the list of playoff contenders with a third place finish in 2-2A.

In Division II Cisco has been picked as the only Big Country team to see the playoffs. The Lobos are picked atop their district once again in 2010. Cisco also boasts a second place projection in Region I and a seventh place finish overall in state.
