Hardin Simmons Professor Recognized For Excellence

A professor at Hardin Simmons University was recognized for excellence by his Alma Mater.
Dr. Omer Hancock has been a professor at HSU for 30 years.
"I've been here so long I now teach some of the children of students I first taught back in the 80's," said Dr . Hancock.
He was recognized by his alma mater, Oklahoma Baptist University, with a Profile In Excellence Award. The award is given to a former student who has demonstrated recognizable accomplishments in his or her profession.
"It came as a complete surprise. I had no idea it was coming this way. I am truly honored," he said.
Dr. Hancock will be featured in an upcoming article in OBU Magazine.
