Smart Woman: Bra Whisperer

Surveys show 85% of women are wearing the wrong bra size.
To the rescue, a woman who's known from her appearances on Oprah, and as the founder of the store Intimacy.
"It's all about making every woman feel confident in her own body," said Intimacy founder Susan Nethero.
"What's the most common mistake that women make when they buy a bra? Our logic would take us in the wrong direction. So most women, looking and seeking comfort, are actually getting a bra that's too big around.
Case in point, our brave models who are willing to take it off to teach us the bare facts.
'We can see that she's not getting enough lift. her bustline is very low," said Krista.
Krista has another common problem, a lumpy back. Nethero said it happens because the band is too loose and rides up.
"This is the leanest part of every woman's body. so if you bring your bra lower on the body, you won't see any back fat at all."
So Krista looses 4 inches in the band and goes up three cup sizes.
"As you can see, we have no backfat," said Nethero.
The wrong size makes that centerpiece too wide, the next model goes from a 34D to a 32E, again, smaller band, larger cup.
"See how much more uplift we're getting. and also how firm this is on her body," said Nethero.
The prize for worst bra goes to Nikki for wearing a really bad, but all too common sports bra.
Nethero replaced her 36B with a 32D.
"By bringing her breasts together and centering her bustline, one inch is the ideal center definition, all of the sudden, you have breasts!"
Nethero said women change bra sizes about six times in their lives, based on hormonal and weight changes and distribution shifting over time.
As a result, you should get professionally sized every few years or so.
Another tip, hook your bra before you wash it and never put it in the dryer, it can ruin the elastic and shape of the bra.
