By: Alex Hayes
Updated: August 23, 2011
Abilene will soon be home to a new gourmet sandwich shop.

Jimmy John's is expected to open their doors on September 13th in the same shopping center as Sport Clips on Southwest Drive, one of Abilene's highest traffic areas.

The restaurant advertises "freaky fast" delivery featuring fresh deli choices with no fillers or additives.

Workers hope to begin laying tile and painting inside the new store by the end of the week.
