This week we're highlighting a local woman who is making a difference for those battling a deadly illness.

We turn the spotlight on Paige Sproles.  Paige was nominated by her husband Keith Sproles, who says in just three short weeks, his wife Paige organized "Coogs For The Cure", a breast cancer awareness program for the Big Country.

Through pink T-shirt sales "Coogs For The Cure," under the leadership of Paige, raised $22,000 for the Vera Wang Foundation at Hendrick Medical Center.

From of all of us at KTAB and in the Big Country, thank you Paige for your hard work and dedication to fighting breast cancer.
