A four car accident in south Abilene injured two people, one of the vehicles rolled onto its top at South 15th and Barrow.

Abilene police say the chain of events may have started when one of the drivers had a seizure.

Police say a truck was pulling out of sonic on South 15th, when an SUV slammed into the back of the truck.

The SUV then sped up and continued across a very busy Barrow Street, hitting two other vehicles, before rolling onto it's top.

The Abilene Fire Department used the "Jaws of Life" to free the driver.

He and a woman in another car that was hit, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Before the first responders got there, something amazing happened that almost went unnoticed until KTAB's Victor Sotelo started asking questions at the scene.

What he found was an act of bravery.

A woman was in the drive through line at Walgreens near where the accident happened.

Witnesses said they heard a loud crash.

Near by residents heard something, and ran out to see what happened.

That's when a woman who was sitting in her truck with her mother at the Walgreens drive through window saw someone was hurt and needed help.

She got out of her truck and ran towards the SUV that had rolled onto its top with the driver trapped inside.

When she saw there was nothing she could do to get him out, she crawled inside the SUV to keep him company.

She said she saw he needed someone, and that someone just happened to be near by.

That was the most stupid thing she could have done - not only did she put her life in danger, she put his life in more danger. If his car caught fire there would have been two to get out instead of one. There was plenty of room for her to sit/lay outside his vehicle and talk to him yet she could easily have gotten out of the way when help arrived.

I can only say that she is one of those one in a million angels. God bless her.
