Cyber Monday In Full Swing

By: Vertex News
Updated: November 28, 2011
There's heavy traffic on the information superhighway as online shoppers spend for holiday gifts on Cyber Monday.

Consumer Electronics Association economist Shawn DuBravac  1/8 1/8 DOOB-er-vak 3/8 3/8 says the online shopping day has been stretched out by some retailers to cover a longer period.

He states that some online promotions will last through this week.

He predicted that online buyers today will be looking today for deals similar to those they might have missed on the day after Thanksgiving.

Tablet computers and other tablet items are on the top of wish lists for many consumers.

DuBravac advises those who want to stretch their dollars to invest time in online research and price comparison.

He reminds online shoppers to protect their identities when making purchases online.
