Rescue the Animals Sets Special December Offer

Rescue the Animals has a special offer through the month of December.

The local chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is cutting the adoption fees for animals at the Abilene Animal Shelter.

The adoption fee for cats will be $30, the usual charge is $70.

The adoption fee for dogs will drop from $80 to $40.

Pets that have been previously spayed or neutered can be adopted for $20.

The shelter is at 925 South 25th just east of Treadaway Boulevard in southeast Abilene.
