Snyder Woman Sues Police Over CPR Incident

Darlene Bollinger is suing the City of Snyder and several Snyder Police Officers who forced her to stop performing CPR on her husband while he was having a heart attack.

The suit was filed late last month in US District Court. In the complaint, Bollinger says she called 911 and then started performing CPR on her husband, Benny Bollinger.

According to the complaint, 911 dispatchers sent both EMS and police officers. Police arrived on the scene first and forced Bollinger to stop CPR on her husband, forcing her to go into another room while her husband was on the floor fighting for his life.

The EMS crew arrived and restarted CPR on Benny Bollinger before taking him to the hospital where he died.

Bollinger is now suing, saying police violated her rights by holding her in a separate room. The lawsuit also claims the police officers' actions led to her husband's death.

Good, I hope she wins. What business did the police have asking her to stop in the first place?
