Go to any city park and it's not hard to find someone with an opinion on the bathrooms.

"I go out of my way to take my kids to another bathroom facility or we go home" said park goer Felicia Kennedy.

The city says they clean them regularly, and in the summer months even double up on the more heavier traffic parks.

"With all the traffic that goes through here between families and other people over at the skate park, sometimes people don't have the common courtesy to clean up after themselves," said a concerned parent.

The cleanliness is a problem we've heard complaints about.

But with the park bathrooms open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day, the city says when they clean them in the mornings, and someone messes them up in the afternoon, it may be a couple of days before they get to it again especially in the winter months.

Comments

Why do the bathrooms stay open 24 hours a day when there are signs stating the park closes at 5pm? Perhaps they need to start locking the bathrooms at 5pm as well.
