Peacefully Protesting Abilene Abortion Clinic

By: Natalie Ferrari
Updated: January 22, 2012
Nearly 100 people peacefully protested the 39th anniversary the Supreme Court's decision to legalize the abortion of an unborn fetus at any stage.

Abilene pro-life community members came together Sunday afternoon to pray over the subject.

Bishop Pfeifer from the San Angelo Diocese also visited Abilene to pray the Rosary with many residents of the community outside the Planned Parenthood in Abilene.

The facility conducts multiple medical abortions every week.

Last year, nearly one hundred people came out to pray in front of the location, and Sunday's turnout was just as strong.

Bishop Pfeifer holds these prayers many times a year at abortion centers, covering 29 counties.

Comments

Where did all these people park that were protesting? I hope they were not trespassing on Planned Parenthood's parking lot. If they were parkd in United's parking lot does this mean that United as a corporation is against Planned Parenthood as well? The protesters are always parked in United's parking lot. Does United know this?
