APD: Man Arrested on Tax Evasion Warrant

Yesterday at 12:20 p.m. Officer Pat Perez contacted a male subject in the 1900 block of Butternut. This subject showed to have an outstanding arrest warrant for evade or attempt to evade tax. He was placed under arrest for this warrant.

At 7:50 p.m. Officer Mary Guitar was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 1300 block of Ross. A female subject claimed to have been assaulted and had a visible injury. A male suspect was placed under arrest for assault family violence.

And finally at 1:05 a.m. Officer Adam Richardson stopped a vehicle at South 28th and Buffalo Gap Road for a traffic offense. The driver appeared intoxicated and failed the standardized field sobriety tests. This male driver was placed under arrest for DWI. He provided a breath sample and the results were 0.211 and 0.198. The legal limit is 0.08.
