Recent Rainfall Raises Lake Level Significantly

Rainfall totals have benefited one area lake over the last couple days.

The Brownwood Bulletin reports the level of Lake Brownwood has risen by more than 6 inches in just one day.

The Brownwood area saw 2-3 inches of rain Wednesday night into Thursday evening.

Lake Brownwood had dropped to its lowest levels in decades during the past few months.
