APD: Woman Lurking Around Closed Business Busted with Cocaine

At 11:00 last night, Officer Jake Weise contacted a male subject during a traffic stop in the 600 block of Butternut Street. The male subject provided a false date of birth. He was correctly identified and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of firearm by felon. He was placed under arrest for the warrant and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 11:45 last night, Sergeant Jason Haak contacted a female subject close to a closed business in the 3100 block of South First Street. He conducted a consensual search of the female and the female suspect was found to be in possession of a small quantity of cocaine. She was placed under arrest for possession of cocaine.
