APD: Disturbance Call Yields Cocaine Arrest

At 12:24 a.m. Officer Randy Brown stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of North Treadaway for a traffic offense. The driver appeared intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for DWI with an open container.
And finally at 4:20 a.m. officer Paul Martinez was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 2200 block of Overland Trail. Officer Martinez contacted a male subject who appeared to be under the influence of a drug. Officer Martinez obtained consent to search and located a small amount of cocaine on his person. This male subject was placed under arrest for possession of cocaine.
