Man Pulls Out in Front of Cop, Goes to Jail

A Hawley man pulled out in front of the wrong car early this morning in south Abilene.

An Abilene police officer reported that he made a traffic stop about 12:30 morning in the 1200 block of Butternut Street.

The officers report that 48-year-old Bobby Joe Reed pulled out in front of the police car.

Police then conducted a field sobriety test and arrested Reed for driving while intoxicated.

It was the second time Reed has been arrested for DWI.
