Future for Merkel Golf Course Remains Uncertain

By: Josh Berry
Updated: February 9, 2012
The future for a struggling golf course in Merkel could soon change.

The owner of Tin Cup golf course has offered management responsibilities to its members.

A meeting will be held tonight to discuss whether or not it would be in the best interest of the members to take over those responsibilities.

The owner and members want to stress that the course is in no immediate danger of closing.

That meeting is tonight at 6:00 in the course clubhouse.
