Sweetwater Sees Spike in Sales Tax Allocation

There is some good economic news for the City of Sweetwater.

Sales tax revenue increased by 57 percent from the previous year, with January alone increasing 29 percent.

The city credits an increase in spending over the Christmas shopping season and the construction of the crez line, a renewable energy project through the town.
