The Taylor County Veterans Center is finally looking forward to their very own office space soon in the city of Abilene.

The office has taken out a $420,000 construction permit through the City of Abilene to begin remodeling the interior of their new location which will be right off North Sixth Street.

The Vet center is dedicated to readjustment counseling with veterans dealing with traumatic situations.

They currently work out of the Taylor County Veterans Service office and are still awaiting approval on the permit from the city before the move can take place.
