Albany Residents Prepping for Fandangle

It may not be until summer, but Albany residents are already preparing for one of their most anticipated events.

The 75th Fandangle is set for this June.

Actors, singers and anyone else interested in participating have been busy practicing at the Aztec Theatre.

Participants say the event gets more popular each year.

"This year we've had the best turnout," says Chuck Senter of the Albany Chamber of Commerce. "I've been here 11 years and this is the best turnout I've seen for the first two nights of practice and there's people in it this year that have never been in it before, and that's very exciting for people that have been here for year after year after year."

The theme changes every year, but there are some things that remain untouched, such as the longhorn cattle.

Hundreds are expected to attend.
