Abilene Adds Jobs, Lowers Unemployment Rate

Abilene remains more than a percentage point lower than the state average, which saw a slight drop of .2 percent from 7.2 in February to 7.0 in March.
Overall Abilene gained about 1,100 jobs in the month of March, while the number of unemployed stayed the same.
Both Abilene and Texas numbers remain below the national average.
