Man Sees His Stolen Motorcycle While Driving

A man who's motorcycle was stolen was in the right place at the right time today. He saw his bike on the road and followed it out of town.

Thomas Whitenton could not believe it, he told a friend on the phone. He got the bike from his dad when he was 16 years old, then sold to his friend.

It was stolen two months ago from the Southwest Drive area

Today, Thomas was in north Abilene when a man pulled up next to him in his stolen motorcycle. 

He follow the bike out of town on 351 and called 911. Police finally caught up and pulled the bike over. The rider said it was sold to him.

The previous owner said he noticed the work he had done on it and knew it was his old bike.

Police took possession of the bike and say they will instigate
