Four Join Dogs for Spring Training

ABILENE, TX - Four players emerged from the Prairie Dogs' open tryout on Sunday morning and have earned a spot in the team's spring training camp.

Three of the qualifiers are coming out of their recently concluded season with McMurry University. Marcellous Biggins (IF), Deen Coleman (RHP), and Matt Thompson (1B) make up the trio of War Hawks to make the cut.

In addition, outfielder Cody Bishop out of North Central Texas College will also participate in the Prairie Dogs preseason camp.

26 hopefuls showed up at 8:00 for the Prairie Dogs open tryout at Abilene High School on Sunday morning.
