Hundreds of dog lovers will be showcasing their furry four-legged friends in Abilene this weekend.

Friday will kick off this year's Abilene Kennel Club Annual Dog Show.

While the event is similar to the Westminster Dog Show, each breed is judged on multiple categories, including obedience.

Many rare breeds will be present as well as nearly a dozen vendors.

The show will be open to the public this Friday through Sunday free of charge at the Taylor County Expo Center.
