Each year hundreds of athletes across the Big Country put their bodies to the test during hours of practice, games, and competitions and for most, their commitment to excellence doesn't stop off the field.

This weekend Big Country athletes with the FCA and Abilene Youth Sports Authority will be recognized for all of their hard work through the seasons.

Steve Keenum says, "This event is an opportunity for us to tell young people and the community about these young people that have gone above and beyond not only in the way they play but in the way they live their lives. "

Check out the FCA website for all updates on awards given.
