Happy Memorial Day! First half of the day is looking great, but we could be talking about severe weather by this evening.

Partly cloudy skies will move in this afternoon with highs reaching into the low 90's. A general risk of thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon hours. A slight risk for severe storms will kick in for the late afternoon and evening hours for the entire Big Country. The biggest concern with these storms will be large hail and damaging winds.

Tuesday morning will bring slight rain chances and then mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. Wednesday will be the hottest day this week with highs nearing 100 degrees again. The heat won't last too long before a cold front rolls through Thursday, bringing temperatures back down into the upper 80's...and then the mid 80's for Friday.
