A frontal boundary will push into the area and stall out today. With the front, an upper level low will move into the area and remain for the next several days.
The abundance of Gulf moisture and provided lift from the front will keep showers and storms in the forecast through Thursday. Storms may briefly reach severe limits, but heavy rain looks to be the main concern.
Along with the clouds and storms, expect highs in the mid to upper 80s today through Thursday with lows near 70.
The system moves out by the weekend, sending our temperatures back into the 90s.
