A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for much of the area until 11PM. Abilene is included under this WATCH. A cold front moving south into the area tonight will bring about thunderstorms with some being potentially severe with large hail and damaging winds. The same front will push back northwards as a warm front later Tuesday resulting in additional storm chances Tuesday on into Wednesday.... Temperatures though will be cooler over the next several days after the record setting heat of today.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with thunderstorms possible. Some possibly severe. Lows in the low to mid 70s.

Tuesday: More thunderstorm chances with partly cloudy skies. Highs near 92.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Chance of storms. Highs near 90.
