Brady superintendent Anne Moore told us the school board narrowed the search down to 3 last night and decided to offer the job to Howard. His name will be presented to the school board at the regular school board meeting on Monday.
Howard helped rebuild Brownwood as a state power in the last 3 years. The Lions allowed just 18 points a game in that time, and they won 32 and lost just 9 games.
Howard replaces Glen Jones, who resigned last month. Jones was 38-30 in 6 years with the Bulldogs.
