Water Main Break Shuts Down Street

By:
Updated: June 17, 2012

A water main break this evening, near North 3rd and Clinton Street, caused quite a bit of flooding.

Water traveled down the road and into resident's yards. Police were there directing traffic and said it was temperature fluctuations over the years that caused the pipes to burst.

APD says road repair will begin immediately and the street should be driveable again in a few days.
