His father gave him his first guitar when he was just a little boy, but it wasn't until he heard the legend Buddy Holly, that Johnny Rogers took a real interest in music. His smooth sound will take you back a few decades, to a time when life was easier.

Johnny Rogers gave audiences a preview of his music on KTAB 4u, with the song, "Folsom Prison Blues," originally by Johnny Cash. Watch the embedded video above to see the full performance.

Saturday, June 23rd, Rogers will be live at the Truscott Texas Street Dance in Knox County. The concert will be free, but for $15 you can enjoy a BBQ dinner.
