We'll start to see some clouds build back into the area thanks to that Gulf moisture pumping out of the SE. The eastern half of the Big Country has the best chance of seeing showers begin to develop late Weds and into Thurs, about a 20%. Abilene and all areas to the west are sticking with a 10% chance of those showers making it into the area. The increased cloud cover will help our highs stay in the upper 80's and low 90's through Thursday.
By Friday, skies should clear out, making way for lots of sunshine to return...as well as those mid 90's. Looking ahead, forecast models are showing quite the heat wave, with temperatures nearing the triple digits by the weekend and even into next week.
