Heat is the big headline regarding weather in the Big Country this weekend. The average high temperature this time of year is in the lower 90s. Our highs this weekend will reach to near 100. Then as we head into next week high temperatures will reach well into the lower 100s. Lots of sun and no rain are in the 7 day forecast that I will air on the KRBC First at 5 Newscast. Tonight: Clear and quiet. Lows near 73.

Saturday: Plenty of sun and hot. Highs near 98.

Sunday: Sun and very hot. Highs near 100.

Monday: Sun and intense heat. Highs near 101.

Tuesday: Mainly sunny and intense heat. Highs near 102.
