Verbal Altercation Leads to Shots Fired in North Abilene

Shots were fired outside a north Abilene home early Wednesday morning.

According to reports, an unknown Hispanic male approached the victim in front of his home around 2:00 a.m.

A verbal disturbance ensued and as the incident escalated, the suspect pulled out a semi-automatic firearm and began shooting.

The victim went and retrieved his own gun and fired back.

No one was hurt in the incident, but two residences and a vehicle were damaged.
