Big Country residents now have a quick and easy way to help save a life.
United Way of Abilene is stepping up its "mobile" initiative, allowing people to make donations via text message.
With 300 people already signed up for the service, officials hope their new campaign will make it even simpler.
All you need to do is text "connect" to 80088 to sign up for free, then to donate, just text "impact" and it'll automatically add $10 to your cellphone bill.
All the money stays right here in the Big Country.
