"I was really and truly mad. I just can't believe someone would walk in there and think it was their stuff!"

That was the expression that was on the Lindsey Bavousett's mind, and many of the Abilene High Band students agreed. The students spent the afternoon on the practice lot, getting ready for Friday night. It's something they do every week, but today's practice ended differently.

"We were out having band rehearsal like we do every Wednesday and Tuesday. We came in and a bunch of our stuff was stolen and lockers were open," explains another band student.

All of the students were shocked, and left with questions. Mainly why only certain items were stolen, but not everything?

As one student put it, "Some people's keys weren't stolen, some people's iPods weren't stolen, and they were just sitting out there...in the middle."

According to Abilene Police, after talking with just four of the 18 victims, there is already an estimated $600 dollars in theft. Leaving the total open, and easily able to reach over a thousand dollars. Now, the students are left wondering why they were targeted.
