Dublin Bottle Works Drinks Now Available in Abilene

By: News Release
Updated: June 28, 2012
Texas Star Trading Company in downtown Abilene now has 11 new flavors of bottled soft drinks distributed by Dublin Bottling Works available.

Dublin Bottling Works formerly distributed Dublin Dr Pepper before Dr Pepper Snapple bought out the franchise earlier this year and discontinued the Dublin Dr Pepper brand.

The reconstituted Dublin Bottling Works has since added 11 retro bottled sodas made with pure cane sugar. Flavors with the actual Dublin logo include lemonade, cherry limeade, vanilla cream, vintage cola, retro grape, strawberry cream and orange cream. Other flavors available from Dublin include Blueberry Breese, Ski, Cheerwine and Triple XXX Root Beer.

"We have to drive to Dublin to get the drinks," said Texas Star manager Carol Dromgoole, "but we think our customers will enjoy the new retro flavors. We also continue to carry the pure cane sugar bottled Dr Pepper, but it doesn't say Dublin on the bottle anymore."

The store also has acquired a limited supply of Dublin Dr Pepper which is sold in gift-wrapped six packs at a premium price.

For more information, contact Texas Star at 672-9696.

Its too bad that Dublin Dr. Pepper is not in production anymore. It was a truly delicious soda! If you never tried it before and want to experience a little piece of history, or.. if you just want to have one more drink of Dublin Dr. Pepper, they can still be purchased online from http://www.specialtysodas.com/dublin-dr-pepper-p-46.html
