Our weather is going to be quiet and warm tonight across the Big Country...then more sun and heat are expected for Friday.

Some good news: it appears that a little relief will be experienced later this coming weekend with highs back in the 90s. There is even a slim chance of some rain around possibly on Sunday. The triple digit heat though should resume later next week after our brief reprieve into early next week.

The latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: Clear and quiet. Low: 74

Friday: Mostly sunny. High: 100

Saturday: Mostly sunny. High: 99

Sunday: Partly cloudy with a slim rain chance. High: 96
