Taylor Co. Commissioners Reinstate Burn Ban

The Taylor County Commissioners Court voted to ban outdoor burning effective Tuesday morning.
The burn ban was enacted due to the danger of wildfires, and will be in effect until October 1 unless there is enough rain to lift the ban before that.
The burn ban does not affect the use of fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Taylor County, but officials are calling on everyone to be very careful because of the hot, dry weather.
