Jordan Shipley Hosting D1 Experience on Friday

Abilene, TX. (July 10, 2012) - Former Texas Longhorn and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jordan Shipley will work out and host a members-only D1 Experience on Friday, July 13 from 4-7 pm at the new D1 Sports Training facility in Abilene. Shipley, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten and Indianapolis Colts snapper Justin Snow are co-owners of the facility that opened on June 4th.
 
To register for the D1 Experience, go to D1Abilene.com. Shipley will train with the D1 Prep (Ages 15-18), D1 Developmental (Ages 12-14), D1 Rookie (Ages 7-11), and D1 Boot Camp (Ages 18+).
 
Media availability for Shipley will be at 4:00 pm and he will talk to reporters at 4:30 pm. Shipley will also appear on the first ESPN Dox N Jox radio show from the D1 complex on Friday too.
 
The D1 facility, which is located in the Munton Sports Complex, features a 15,000+ square-foot training space and an additional 10,000 square feet for D1 Sports Medicine partner Texas Sport & Spine. D1 Abilene has an indoor turf field and first-class weight room combined with a state-of-the-art sports medicine and therapy clinic geared toward athletes and athletic type injuries run by Texas Sport & Spine.
 
The facility is located at 4351 Ridgemont Drive, Abilene, TX, which is formerly the Circuit City building. In addition to Witten, Shipley and Snow, the Abilene D1 Training facility is co-owned by a group of local investors and sports enthusiasts led by Dr. Dan Munton of Texas Sport & Spine.
