By: Snyder Daily News
Updated: July 13, 2012
District 11 U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway will be in Snyder Monday to give a legislative update.

The event will be held from 5-6 p.m. at College on the Square, located at 1806 26th Street.

During past town hall sessions, Conaway has addressed the Affordable Care Act and legislation concerning farmers and ranchers. He is the chairman of the subcommittee on general land commodities and risk management and serves on the armed services and ethics committees.

Conaway represented Scurry County from 2002 until this year, when the re-drawn congressional district map put the county in District 19, represented by Republican Randy Neugebauer.

He will also answer questions from the audience.
