"Just trying to save money, just like everybody else," says Nora Navarrete.

Tough economic times have caused  people to turn to all sorts of ways to save money.

"I'm a mom of seven and eight grand-babies," Navarrete continues.

The two were co-workers who had one common goal- saving money for their families.

Navarrete explains, "I started just like anybody else, a clip here and a clip there, but I picked up on it really, really fast."

Many of us have seen our mothers or grandmothers couponing, may think it is too time consuming for a small amount of savings, but these ladies say otherwise. They are cashing in on some huge savings.

"I have been able to get my grocery bill down from $220 a week to about $50 to $75 a week," says Misty Fry.

Fry herself was a nay-sayer, thinking there was no possible way it could be done. That was until Navarrete took her shopping to see it with her own eyes.

"It does take time. It takes patience to do this. But once you see the amount of savings you're saving, you want to take the time to do it," says Navarrete.

Now the two are helping others.

They have turned their hobby into a part-time business called Clipping Cents, and they say their lives have been changed forever.

"It really changes your total lifestyle. You see coupons a whole different way. To us this is money," says Navarrete.
