Weekend Rundown: From Car Washes To Crafty Creations

From a crafter's dream festival to a car wash for a cause, there are tons of events happening around town this weekend.

Friday, July 20th
The Texas Big Game Awards with the Texas Wildlife Association are at the Abilene Civic Center starting Friday with a social and Saturday with the actual awards.

Saturday, July 21st

Resident Appreciation Block Party kicks off Saturday afternoon at the Quail Hollow Family Housing with burgers, water slides, and even a performance by Zach Harmon.

Don't forget to stock up on crafting supplies like jewelry, furniture, and so much more at Craftapalooza Saturday off North 6th street.

The Dyess We Care car wash is raising money for Friends for Life Saturday, so head by to get your car cleaned for a good cause.

The Historic Fort Griffin Campfire Tales event gets started Saturday night. You can listen to tales and lore about the trail drives, longhorn cattle, and frontier adventures.
