Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle in Abilene

Police reported that a pedestrian was hit by a car at Springbrook and South Clack just after 9:30 p.m.

That's just about where the exit ramp from the Winters Freeway joins Clack.

The pedestrian was crossing the street and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

Clack from South 7th was closed while the Abilene Fire Department and Metrocare paramedics took care of victim.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for serious but not life threatening injuries.
