A cool front is edging down into the Big Country from the north today and is aiding with the development of scattered showers and storms.

The best bet for storms will exist tonight over the NW half of the Big Country along that front. Some of the storms could be strong with small hail and heavy rain and gusty winds to near 50-55 MPH. Some localized flooding also may occur under the heavier dow...npours with the slow-moving nature of the storms.

The latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers and storms. Lows near 76.

Friday: Partly sunny with scatter storms. Highs near 98.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a very slim storm chance. Highs near 100.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs near 101.
